Sub-Category Doppler Ultrasound
Color ultrasounds have color/anatomic M-mode, CW mode, and support phased array probes. High resolution, suitable for diagnosis of abdomen, heart, peripheral vessel, breast, etc. Color Doppler is a method of visually detecting motion or blood flow using a color map that is incorporated into a standard B-mode image. The principles of color Doppler are similar to those of pulsed-wave Doppler.
Please contact our technical team for full specifications.
To use color ultrasound (Color Doppler), first obtain a clear 2D (B-mode) image of the target structure, then activate the "Color" button on the scanner. Adjust the, color box to cover the area of interest, scale (PRF) to match blood velocity, and gain to reduce background noise. Typically, red indicates flow toward the probe, while blue indicates flow away (BART: Blue Away, Red Towards).
