Preparation and Measurement: The patient is anesthetized locally, and the glans is disinfected. A, ruler or measuring device provided with the kit is used to measure the glans to ensure the correct, properly sized stapler is selected.
Inserting the Inner Bell: The inner bell (often stainless steel) is placed over the glans to protect it and position the tissue correctly.
Positioning the Stapler: The outer part of the stapler is placed over the foreskin and attached to the inner bell.
Firing the Stapler: The operator squeezes the handles firmly. The device cuts the excess foreskin while simultaneously applying, staples to seal the wound.
Removal and Bandaging: The device is carefully removed, ensuring the staples are in place, (sometimes requiring a specialized remover). The wound is then covered with gauze and an elastic bandage for 3–5 hours
