High-Strength & Durable Material: The bags are manufactured from a high-strength, tear-resistant Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) material, offering excellent biocompatibility. This material ensures that the bag does not tear during the removal of large or sharp specimens.

Large Capacity/Volume: The bags are designed with a generous 700ml volume capacity, facilitating the retrieval of large specimens in a single operation.

Nitinol Alloy Support: The bag mouth is supported by a high-quality nickel-titanium (Nitinol) alloy memory wire, which allows the bag to fully expand for easy specimen insertion and return to its shape, providing excellent support.

10mm Trocar Compatibility: The device features a small diameter shaft, making it suitable for insertion through standard 10mm trocars.

Easy Deployment and Closure: The bag is designed for easy, one-handed operation to open, fill, and close within the abdominal cavity, often featuring a self-opening mechanism.

Transparent Design: The TPU material is transparent, allowing surgeons to visualize the specimen during the retrieval process.

Safety Features: The bags are sterile and designed for single-use to prevent cross-contamination. They also feature a secure, easy-to-use tether for closing the bag.
Capacity: Available in various sizes, with models featuring large-volume, such as 700ml or similar, to facilitate the removal of large specimens at once.

Material: Made of high-strength, transparent TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) for visibility and durability.

Support Structure: Features a superior memory support structure, often made of nickel-titanium (Ni-Ti) alloy, which allows for full expansion and automatic opening inside the cavity.

Insertion Size: Designed for use with 10 mm trocars (with some designs allowing for 5mm–12mm range depending on the specific model).

Operation: Features an ergonomic handle design for easy one-handed or simple two-handed operation, including a push-and-pull mechanism.

Safety Features: Includes self-locking mechanisms to avoid spillage, a tapered design for easier removal, and high-strength, leak-proof materials to minimize contamination.

Sterility: Single-use and sterile.
1. Preparation and Insertion

Insert Trocar: Ensure a 10mm or 12mm trocar (depending on the bag size) is in place.
Insertion: Introduce the pre-loaded, folded retrieval bag through the trocar sleeve into the abdominal cavity.

Deployment: Push the handle of the device forward to release the bag from the insertion tube. The bag's metal ring will automatically pop open, opening the pouch.

2. Loading the Specimen

Capture Tissue: Use laparoscopic forceps to place the dissected surgical specimen into the open bag.
Repositioning: If necessary, the bag can be maneuvered to ensure the entire specimen is secured inside.

3. Closing and Removal

Close the Bag: Pull the closing pull rope (suture) tightly to seal the bag's opening completely. Some models offer one-handed operation to close the bag without needing additional forceps.
Remove from Cavity: Detach the bag from the applicator if necessary (or pull the entire apparatus) and guide the bag out through the trocar site.
Extraction: Pull the bag opening through the incision site. If the specimen is too large, the incision may need to be slightly enlarged, or the specimen broken down inside the bag, to facilitate safe removal.
